• Conduct the Chamber's major fundraiser through sale of raffle tickets to win up to $10,000.
    Organizes the annual meeting and awards event where members may unite socially as well as present the annual awards and conduct the annual meeting requirements.
    Organizes the annual 18-Hole Golf Social which attracts a full field for an afternoon of golf and networking. This is annual fundraiser for the Chamber.
    Organizes the annual State of the Towns event where representatives and dignitaries from the two towns will offer presentations focusing on our town's businesses and town management activities. While not a fundraising event, it is a major event for the Chamber providing an opportunity for the business community and town management to gather and focus on important issues for each.
    The Board of Directors is responsible for the governance and policy-making for the organization. They are responsible for establishing procedure and formulating policy. They control the organization's property and are responsible for its finances and for the direction of its affairs. Chamber Directors are individually and collectively responsible to the Chamber membership.
    To review the internal reporting of the budget and financial policies and procedures of the Chamber; to ensure that the reporting of revenue and expenses of operations and assets and liabilities of the Chamber are based on acceptable accounting practices; and to provide necessary and timely information for decision-making.
    Individuals from a core group of 9 WBCC Member Organizations becoming more familiar with the businesses represented and referring potential clients to one another.
    Organizes several Business After Hours events during the year as well as annual events such as the Taste of the Towns . The Committee shall identify venues, organize activities, and ensure active participation and attendance by Chamber membership at the Business After Hours events.
    The Executive Board includes the board's officers: president, vice president, treasurer and secretary. Although the members of the Executive Committee hold the Board's leadership positions, this Board differs from the Board in the scope of its authority and its ability to act independently.
    Our bylaws need to be reviewed and changes need to be recommended to the Executive Board and Board in time for the members to vote at the Annual Meeting held in late October/early November.
    Dedicated to increasing and retaining membership in the Chamber, this committee develops new strategies to enhance membership benefits, reviews member applications, cultivates relationships with Town officials and local business owners and serves as liaisons between the Chamber and its members.
    Ongoing efforts to educate, engage, inform and provide resources to the business community.
    The Chamber awards four (4) scholarships to high school seniors annually. The Committee work only begins once the completed applications have been received. Within a two to three week period, the Committee reviews the applications, ranks the applicants and selects the award recipients.
    Committed to working with local businesses and The Towns to develop campaigns to encourage shopping locally. Working closely with other committees, including Marketing, the Shop Local Committee develops strategies and marketing ideas that further enhance the local business economy.
    Premier volunteer group making personal contact with new and existing Chamber members, acting as greeters at functions and inviting prospective members to join our Chamber. Welcoming smiles, hearty handshakes and cheerful personalities are a prerequisite.
    Chamber staff members work with the Board of Directors to set policy and establish guidelines to meet the goals and objectives of the organization. They continually meet with the Board and committees to evaluate programs and activities, develop the annual budget and lead volunteers. They see that members are regularly provided with information pertaining to businesses; help promote business members through Chamber publications and programs; refer members only; and manage the day-to-day operations.
    Responsible for the policies guiding the presence of the Chamber in all forms of media. It also oversees regular audits of the Chamber's IT needs. Working closely with the Marketing Committee, the Technology Committee oversees the website, social media, the distribution of newsletter and other electronic forms of communication.
    WBCC Women's Breakfast Club is dedicated to supporting women in order to excel through business and personal connections and laughter - to love the life they live and create a life they love. The Club will provide a forum for open discussions, mentoring and camaraderie.
