  • COMMITTEE: PASSPORT TO HEALTH COMMITTEE: PASSPORT TO HEALTH

The Chamber is happy to be a partner on a new health, wellness and fitness event: Passports To Health.

The Chamber will be part of a launch of this Event in May 2016 as a “Kick Off” Health, Wellness, and Fitness Fair.

Participating Health, Wellness and Fitness businesses will offer at least one free workshop/class/event to our members and community.

It is the Chamber’s hope that not only will people discover a health/wellness/fitness practice they love, but will also bring new customers to our members’ businesses.

Participating businesses will be listed on our website as “Partners” with a Calendar of events, and a link to their own website.

Co Chairpersons are Stacey Conley and Elena Selivan.

This Event launch will coincide with the creation of a permanent Chamber Wellness Committee to create year round programs of Health, Wellness, and Fitness for our Watertown and Belmont communities and Members.

We are establishing a new and better version of the WBCC Leads Group, to be launched as The Business Referral Network ("BRN").

Under the guidance of the Chamber Director (Paul Airasian), the BRN will be lead by a Chair (Gerry Paone) and Co-Chair (Nancy Fay Donahue) and be assisted by a Secretary, who will help with administrative activities and participate as a Member of the Group. Any WBCC Member is able to nominate an individual to represent their organization and participate in a BRN Group, without any additional cost, as long as there is only one representative of a service or vocation in the Group and that no representative is a member of a BNI Chapter.

The Chamber is excited to announce The Women’s Breakfast Club.  This will be an engaging group of women meeting once a month to support, educate and network with other women.
